The company was founded in 2020 by Dave Williams, an executive leader with decades of management experience as a founder or executive at companies including Cadbury Schweppes, DoubleClick, Viacom and Rhapsody.

Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to join our small team and spearhead the growth of the Volition Index from early-stage product to a defacto standard that companies use to assess their performance. This is a unique opportunity for a professional with a strong background in selling consulting, research, or analytics services to contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the Volition Index and the company. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building a new company, willing to take risks, and eager to make a significant impact in their field.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Sales: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the Volition Index. Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. Understand client needs and present tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of the Volition Index.

Strategic Partnerships: Identify and establish partnerships with relevant organizations and industry influencers to enhance the reach and credibility of the Volition Index.

Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Provide insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Product Strategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to refine and evolve the Volition Index based on market feedback and client needs. Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap.

Risk Management: Embrace the entrepreneurial spirit of building a new company. Be willing to take calculated risks and navigate the challenges associated with a startup environment.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles within the consulting, research, or analytics industries.

Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

Results-Oriented: Goal-driven and self-motivated, with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
